| Summary of Issue | On March 20, 2025 FMCSA Release and updated policy for English Speaking proficiency. I have had 2 inspections rejected but the controlling agency (Maryland State Police) for removal of 395.11(b)(2) in which I had violated the driver for continued use of a translation device for communication during the inspection process. Does a drivers continued use of a translation device or services such as, interpreters, I-Speak cards, cue cards, smart phone applications, and On-Call Telephone Interpretation Service constitute a violation of 49 CFR§ 391.11(b)(2)? |
