| Summary of Issue | Section 9 of the OOSC, Steering Mechanisms, does not address “non-manufactured” holes worn into a drag link. 9.c.(1) addresses cracks and 9.(h) addresses loose bolts or clamps, but nothing within this section deals with “non-manufactured” holes. If a drag link is worn to the point of causing a hole, does it meet the same damage requirement as a crack and be placed OOS. |
| Justification or Need | urgent |
| Request for Action | Requestor would like to add “so worn as to cause a non-manufactured hole in the drag link” to either 9.(c)(1) or 9.(h). |
