| Request for Action | To replace the following sentence found in Section 4. a. of Part III (Hazardous Materials) of the 2004 Edition of the CVSA North American Out-of-Service Criteria. "In Canada - placarded four sides at 500 kgs (1,102 lbs.) in bulk - retro-reflectivity placards, when required." by the sentence below. "In Canada, the ID number must be displayed when required either as an orange panel placard next to the primary class placard without the prefix "UN" or within a white rectangle located on the primary class placard, without the prefix "UN", but it must not obscure the symbol, class, number, compatibility group letter or text on the placard. |
