| Summary of Issue | An OOS was issued to a vehicle because there was motion at the composite front spring when the front tires were turned with the vehicle stopped. Also, dropping the pictures of the cracks in a composite spring has caused confusion. |
| Justification or Need | Although this could have been the result of loose clamp bolts, the claim is that the movement was between the spring and the clamp. Some motion is normal in the spring to clamp area for composite springs. |
| Request for Action | Add a note to the OOS to indicate that some movement is normal. Put the pictures back in the criteria. |
