| Summary of Issue | In the CVSA NAS OOS Criteria Appendix Required Repairs for OOS Notices section #3, allows a passenger carrying vehicle not transporting passengers the opportunity to move the vehicle to a repair facility only when they have been declared OOS for emergency exits that are missing, inoperative or obstructed. It does not provide the same opportunity if the vehicle is declared OOS for emergency exit not properly marked. |
| Justification or Need | Required Repairs for OOS Notices section #3 needs to be updated to include emergency exit not properly marked which is a less serious OOS condition than the other conditions listed. |
| Request for Action | Update Required Repairs for OOS Notices section #3 to include emergency exit not properly marked. |
