| Summary of Issue | When conducting Hazmat/Dangerous goods inspections there are several things to consider when selecting the proper cargo tank/Other bulk packaging that are not currently covered under the Safespec inspection software program. |
| Justification or Need | This issue has been around a long time however now is the time to make changes to this inspection software to make conducting inspections more accurate in what applies regarding HM Compliance. This will also assist in more accurate reporting and tracking for jurisdictions. |
| Request for Action | The HM committee compiled a list of Cargo Tanks and exemptions that they would like the Info Sys committee to consider for inclusion in SafeSpec. These did not get sent to the Info Sys committee at the CVSA Rapid City Fall Conference and Exhibition as planned. |
