| Summary of Issue | Parking Brake - the OOSC states that "no brakes on the vehicle or combination are applied upon actuation of the parking brake control". If a parking brake leaver is applied on a cable style brake but will not stay on without the driver holding it does an OOS condition exist? For further clarification when the driver holds the leaver on then the brakes hold the vehicle stationary. |
| Justification or Need | Officers are not applying this criteria evenly which has raised questions from industry. |
| Request for Action | Have the OOSC wording reflect the answer given. |
