| Summary of Issue | CVSA formerly published guidance with respect to the loading and securement of hazardous materials. With changes to 177.834 from "movement" to "shifting", and with some inconsistency in enforcement of these standards, CVSA should consider updating and reinstating this guidance, and making it part of the OOSC. |
| Justification or Need | We have had several stops where write ups have been issued for securement under 177.834 and upon review the write up was not proper. Consistence with enforcement is needed. |
