Summary of Issue

Clarification is requested relative to the revised NOTE under 1. b. (2). 1.The Note indicates mismatched chambers are only considered mismatched if for example the vehicle is equipped with a type 20 clamp and a type 24 rotochamber, with emphasis put on the type column and not the actual difference in the type of chamber. Question: If a vehicle is equipped with a regular stroke type 20 clamp chamber with an adjustment limit of 1 ? (45mm) and a type 20 rotochamber with an adjustment limit of 2 (51mm), is this a concern? 2. The Note makes reference to a clamp type chamber and a rotochamber using the same type being 20 , how do you determine if the brake chambers are mismatched if the vehicle is equipped with a type 20 clamp chamber and a bolt type chamber when the bolt type chambers are classified in an alphabetical type rating?

Justification or Need
