| Justification or Need | The current OOSC does not specifically address a bent push road as an out of service condition. The push rod is not broken, missing, or loose per the criteria in out of service criteria Item 1.a.(2) and (3). The brake is inoperative; however, the push rod is defective. |
| Request for Action | Clarification. Is a bent push rod an out of service condition? If so, please include a specific reference in the out of service criteria. If a bent push rod is NOT an out of service condition; the pictures showing bent push rods should be removed from the pictorial. |
