| Summary of Issue | Operational Policy 4 Inspector Training and Certification STANDARDS FOR AUDITOR/INSPECTOR/INVESTIGATOR DECERTIFICATION/ DISQUALIFICATION/WAIVERS Failing any exam or failing to successfully demonstrate proficiency in the specific course material requires the auditor/inspector/inspector to successfully retest or repeat the course that was failed. A successful retest of any certification exam is achievement of at least the minimum passing grade established in this Operational Policy. |
| Justification or Need | Clarification on certified inspector who attends a CVSA course(Part A, Part B, ETC.) If the inspector fails the course and is already certified, should this decertify the inspector? i.e. Inspector has been certifed for 6 years and fails another CVSA exam is the inspector decertifed or is he allowed to go back to work and still inspect? |
| Request for Action | Clarification on if the inspector goes back through on a refresher course does thier pass or fail affect their certifcation? |
