| Summary of Issue | CVSA has championed inspector excellence for 31 years through the NAIC program. But after the next year's NAIC, the former champion's involvement in CVSA is left up to their employer's discretion. Furthermore, after their employment with a Class I or II member ends, they are "on their own" if they want to be or stay involved with CVSA. |
| Justification or Need | Honor and respect our NAIC champions and provide them with an opportunity to become an individual lifetime Class III Associate Member of CVSA, at no cost, and remain involved, if they so choose. |
| Request for Action | I request that a change in CVSA policy be made that allows former NAIC champions the opportunity to become an individual lifetime Class III Associate Member of CVSA, at no cost to the former NAIC champion, upon an honorable separation of their employment with a Class I or Class II member. |
