| Summary of Issue | Clinics having trouble sending Med Certs to states. We had a driver go to Care Now in Midlothian, VA. They could not get the med cert to go to the state. They gave our driver a copy of the med cert, but we could not submit and he could not take it to NC DMV. NC told us they are no longer accepting anything from the driver. We had to send our driver for a second physical costing us double plus the time and effort spent by our driver and us. |
| Justification or Need | All clinics are obviously not ready to submit med certs to states. This is the driver's livelihood and our business that is being interrupted when we are trying to be compliant and do the right thing. |
| Request for Action | All clinics should be able to send the certifications to the states. Was there training or detail for all clinics in registry? If so, was it mandatory for them to test their functionality before continuing to service our industry? |
