| Justification or Need | Code 376.11D1 has been removed from safespect program. What do we use to put the violation in? We have had several companies that carry a binder full of different USDOT numbers and company id’s. When you stop one that has been placed oos by FMCSA, they simply grab another company from the binder and tape it to the vehicle, most of the time during the inspection process. Then they never have the required lease agreement. They do not fall under the 390.21 rental truck regulations, but are in clear violation. Without having to carry these lease agreements, they can claim they work for any company out there and we can’t prove otherwise. Thanks. |
