| Summary of Issue | Center vents on brake rotors that are cracking. |
| Justification or Need | A rotor with a crack in length of more than 75 percent of the fiction surface and passes completely through the rotor to the center vent is already an OOS, there is nothing that addresses center rotor vents that are cracked on brake rotors. |
| Request for Action | At a minimum to include any cracks in the rotor vents as a 20% violation and stand alone under the steering axle brake section. |
