| Summary of Issue | NAS Part B Training Field Day needs more focus. |
| Justification or Need | The NAS Part B Training has a field day portion, which is very helpful for the students however we believe the field day would be better if it were more focused. Instead of students going to an inspection site and losing much of the time while inspections are conducted, would it not be better if a couple of vehicles were brought in to demonstrate the parts and pieces of the vehicle. Instructors can keep FTOs (if used) focused on procedure, parts and equipment as they pertain to the inspection procedure and the OOSC. This could be completed at the location and you gain some classroom time. |
