| Summary of Issue | The Frisco Police Department is seeing a lot of brick haulers with loads not being secured correctly and would like some clarification pertaining to the securement requirements. Excluding the first two stacks of bricks in the attached photograph we are seeing only every other stack of bricks with securement. The stacks of bricks do have edge protection across the tops that covers both stacks of bricks but that should not unify the load as a single item. In the photograph each company label on the bricks is a separate stack of bricks. |
| Justification or Need | Please clarify if the edge protection shown in the photograph does unify each stack of bricks thus requiring only one securment device? |
| Request for Action | Issue clarification on the above issue so that uniformity in enforcement can be obtained. |
