| Summary of Issue | CVSA POLICY STATEMENT our of service criteria manual states vehicles inspected should and pass should be given a CVSA sticker. Also officers doing walk-around inspections or paperwork checks not giving a driver an inspection report. These lack of reports and stickers can affect our carrier scores. |
| Justification or Need | The lack of reporting inspection results off sets the true carrier score. Giving inspection reports only when they find violations is unfair to the carriers that understand the SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM |
| Request for Action | 1- If a vehicle is inspected ... give the driver a report even if there are no violations. 2- If a truck and trailer has a level one inspection and passes put a sticker on the truck AND TRAILER |
