Summary of Issue

The sliders for the bogies on a two axle trailer have worn egg shaped where the pins seat to secure the bogies. Looks like loose wheel fastners do to wheels. The bogies, did move. I conducted a test on the bogies like a fifth wheel test, and noticed movement. I was unable to find anything in the North American Out-of-Service Criteria (OOSC) for such a condition.

Justification or Need

Are the sliders wearing to a point that the bogies will let go when the trailer is moving, should be an issue looked at, not sure if it has happened before.

Request for Action

Investigation made to see if the pins will come disengaged due to the holes elongated, maybe something added into the OOSC?
