| Summary of Issue | The sliders for the bogies on a two axle trailer have worn egg shaped where the pins seat to secure the bogies. Looks like loose wheel fastners do to wheels. The bogies, did move. I conducted a test on the bogies like a fifth wheel test, and noticed movement. I was unable to find anything in the North American Out-of-Service Criteria (OOSC) for such a condition. |
| Justification or Need | Are the sliders wearing to a point that the bogies will let go when the trailer is moving, should be an issue looked at, not sure if it has happened before. |
| Request for Action | Investigation made to see if the pins will come disengaged due to the holes elongated, maybe something added into the OOSC? |
