| Summary of Issue | The Technology Maintenance Council (TMC) of the American Trucking Associations (ATA) in consultation with members of CVSA originally drafted the content found in items 10. "Tires" and 12. "Wheels, Rims and Hubs" of Part II of the North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria (OOSC) several years ago when CVSA was first creating an reference document for roadside law enforcement. The OOSC as we know it today outlines what constitutes an imminent hazard when determining when a CMV is to be place out of service at roadside for mechanical deficiencies. |
