| Justification or Need | We need to have the following codes added to Safetynet so we can accurately record any emergency exit violations on these vehicles. 393.62(b) Covers emergency exits on buses manufactured on or after September 1, 1973, but before September 1, 1994 with a GVWR of more than 4,536 kg (10,000 lbs). 393.62(b)(2) Covers emergency exits on buses manufactured on or after September 1, 1973, but before September 1, 1994 with a GVWR of 4,536 kg (10,000 lbs) or less. |
