| Summary of Issue | Part III of the OOSC contains, as part of the policy, "... If, at the descreation of the inspector, it is less hazardous to the public to relocate the vehicle, it shall be towed, transported or escorted to a safe location only at the direction of an official authority." Part I,II and IV of the OOSC do not contain this verbiage and in keeping with uniformity and many of the agencies policies of escorting vehicles that have been placed OOS, this same verbiage should be included in all parts of the OOSC. |
