| Summary of Issue | If an inspector begins a hazmat inspection on a vehicle and during the course of the inspection it is determined that the vehicle is being operated under the Materials of Trade exceptions, should this inspection be included as a hazmat inspection for maintaining certification? |
| Justification or Need | This question was presented during a basic hazmat training session and it was not clear to the instructors if this would continue to be a hazmat inspection. A clarification is requested to address the status of MOT inspections in regard to maintaining HM inspection certification. |
