| Summary of Issue | Add insufficient thread engagement to the OOSC. |
| Justification or Need | Is there a point where wheel nuts are not engaged enough on a wheel stud and are an imminent hazard. If a fastener holds its torque, it has sufficient thread engagement. If a nut holds with insufficient threads, it will either quickly come loose or break. This will lead to a condition of ineffective fasteners already outlined in the OOSC. |
| Request for Action | Determine if there is a limit and to thread engagement that results in imminent hazard and if so, create an OOSC condition. |
