PHMSA Grants Petition Related to Lithium Batteries

On April 29, PHMSA granted (PDF) (opens in a new tab) a petition related to lithium batteries in response to CVSA’s letter (PDF) (opens in a new tab) recommending a series of changes to how lithium batteries are regulated, as well as additional guidance for emergency responders.
