FMCSA Grants CVSA’s Petition to Update Part 393

On Sept. 4, FMCSA granted (PDF) (opens in a new tab) CVSA’s updated petition for rulemaking (PDF) (opens in a new tab) to amend Part 393 to specifically identify unsafe vehicle conditions currently documented during roadside inspections under the “catch-all” provision in § 396.3(a)(1).
