Comments on Harris ELD Exemption Request

On Jan. 10, 2020, CVSA submitted (PDF) comments to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in opposition to an exemption request (PDF) from Harris Companies Inc. for exemption from the electronic logging device (ELD) requirements. The application requests that all Harris employees who are subject to preparing a record of duty status be exempt from the use of ELDs.
