FMCSA Grants CVSA Petition for Reconsideration Regarding Emergency Exemption Final Rule

On Jan. 13, FMCSA granted (PDF) CVSA’s petition for reconsideration (PDF) (opens in a new tab) regarding FMCSA’s final rule (PDF) (opens in a new tab) on the applicability of emergency exemptions. The petition requested that FMCSA reconsider the duration of the automatic regulatory relief that takes effect upon a regional declaration of emergency by a governor, a governor’s authorized representative or FMCSA.
