U.S. Senate Passes Transportation Funding

On Sept. 29, the U.S. Senate passed legislation funding the federal government through mid-December. The U.S. House of Representatives was expected to pass the legislation and send it to the president for his signature on Sept. 30, before the funding bill in place expires at midnight.
